Can I leave the sauna outside?

If your sauna is located outside, make sure there is adequate drainage to prevent water from accumulating on the bottom of the sauna. Do not place the sauna on grass, gravel or rocks. Warming up may be compromised if placed near or on cool surfaces such as concrete and basement walls.

On which surfaces can I set up my sauna?

You can set up your sauna on tile, concrete, carpet, laminate or wood. Make sure your sauna is level, regardless of its location.

How much space do I need around my sauna for setup and optimal performance?

We recommend leaving at least 10 cm of clearance at the back and sides of the sauna for ventilation. If needed, make sure the power switch is within reach to turn off the sauna.
